Detailed Overview of EzyWine
Liquor license details
can be recorded against creditors so that the Register
of Purchased Wines report can be automatically generated.
Periodic Billing allows for weekly, fortnightly, monthly,
quarterly, six monthly and yearly billing cycles. The creditor
ledger and trial balance reports cater for multiple foreign
currencies. Cash, credit card, EFT and cheque payments
can be made.
EzyWine fulfills the requirements of the Wine and
Brandy Board (Label Integrity Program), Liquor Control Commission,
Australian Bureau of Statistics, ATO (Liquor Subsidy, PAYE
tax, Grower RPS, Group Certificates, PAYG, WET) and Customs
(Fortification).
EzyWine is a powerful tool for contract
winemaking facilities. On defining the charging structure
(crush, additions, storage, analysis and handling fees),
the system will automatically generate a Sales Invoices
based on the operations performed on the client's wine,
ensuring accuracy and removing the need for double entry.
The Winemaking module will
meet all of your grape intake, wine production, bulk despatch
and receival, fortification, laboratory analysis and samples
despatch requirements. It also directly interfaces with Weighbridge
Scales (such as Gedge) and Samplers (such as Maselli),
and meets AWBC label integrity program (LIP) and customs (fortification)
requirements and also produces valuable data for most vessel
temperature control systems.
The Weighbridge Reference
module allows you to specify unlimited growers, grower groups,
grower deliveries (contracts), fruit carriers and freight
rates, regions of origin, sub regions, varieties, variety
groups, rate types, payment rates, grower and levy payment
terms, levy types, analysis types, crushers, weighbridge bonus
schemes and harvest operators.
The Weighbridge Operations
module allows you to generate grower contract documentation,
book grower deliveries and record grape deliveries. The reports
provide extensive flexibility in reporting the progress of a
vintage in regards to tonnage and analysis. The reports allow
you to easily browse actual deliveries against expected deliveries.
The total tonnage and the average analysis can be summarised
by grower, variety, variety group, delivery date, region, grower
group, crusher and vineyard. Tonnages, payment rates and bonuses
can be compared against previous vintages with the average price
per tonne also reported.
The Cellar Reference module
allows you to specify unlimited vessels, vessel groups, vessel
types, dip tables, wine batches, wines, wine groups, wine status
types, wine allocations, cellar operation types, cellar hands,
transfer variance reasons and bulk carriers.
The Cellar Operations
module allows you to process crush, press, addition, homogenous
blend, transfer, create culture, adjustment and cost allocation
cellar operations, bulk receivals and despatches, final vessel
allocations and laboratory analysis.
The reports include:

 |
Wine compositions and costs summarised
by vintage, variety and region. |
| |
 |
Grower, vineyard block, crush date, bulk
receival date and additives are also displayed. |
| |
 |
Trial Blend report allows you to preview
the consequence of performing a cellar work sheet in regards
to cost and composition prior to committing the operation. |
| |
 |
Account of Fortification report allows
accurate monitoring of spirit usage. |
| |
 |
Blend Audit Trail report clearly highlights
what cellar operations were performed in the production
of a batch of wine. |
The system also supports Barrel Scanners, making barrel handling
a breeze!
The Grower Payments module
will provide you with Grower and Levy Payment Schedules.
Growers can be paid by cheque or EFT and those growers that
haven't supplied their tax file number (TFN) are automatically
taxed at the highest tax rate. Payment adjustments can be made
at any time during and after vintage. Grower withholding tax
report is also available.
The Planning module allows
you to specify planned estimates for wine composition, bulk
recievals and despatch, packaging and varietal payment rates.
The reports include varietal and wine composition exceptions
and planning estimates versus actual sales. The Processing
specification options can be utilised to record internal
processing procedures and can form part of your ISO accreditation
documentation.
The Production Client
reports are for wineries that perform contract wine processing
and packaging. The reports are professional presented and
include Client Dejuicing Details, Additional Services Summary
and Pre Bottling Quality Assurance and Tasting Releases.
The Packaging module caters
for wineries with packaging lines and those that use external
contract bottling facilities. It includes vessel volume depletion,
packaging specifications, bill of materials and post bottling
analysis. Packaging materials and indirect costs are added.
Packaging specifications are easily exported to contract bottlers
such as VinPac.
The Packaging Reference module allows you to maintain
the packaging line details, stage types, detail types (such
as label height), overhead and labour cost types and downtime
reasons.
The Packaging Operation module allows you to maintain
packaging run details, print weekly schedules, and produce
a variety of cost reports, as well as downtime summaries,
materials wastage and wine composition reports.
Overhead costs can be applied as $/Litres, $/Units,
$/Run or as a % of the total value of the run. Post bottling
analysis can also be recorded.
EzyWine is a powerful tool for contract bottling facilities
and wineries
that also do some contract bottling. On defining the charging
structure
(including any packaging material fees), the system will automatically
generate a Sales Invoices based on the results of the packaging
run,
ensuring accuracy and removing the need for double entry.
Wineries that use external bottling companies, such as Vinpac,
can email a specification file to the contractor directly.
The Plant Servicing module
allows you to record plant items, plant repair activities,
spare parts usage, labour costs, equipment inspection results
and schedule preventative maintenance operations. This module
will assist in reducing breakdowns, increase machine availability,
identify high cost plant items and reduce overall maintenance
costs. The cost reports can be summarised by cost centres,
plant items, plant groups, plant components, spare parts and
service task types.
The common tasks to be performed on each plant item can be
automatically scheduled on a daily, weekly, monthly or
yearly basis. The system notifies you when tanks are next
to be performed with overdue tasks highlighted.
Plant structures can be recorded so that the components that
make up a structure, with low mean-time-between-failure (MTBF)
can be readily highlighted. For example, a bottling line may
be defined as a plant item with component plant items such
as the washer, filler and labeler. The MTBF is recorded automatically
for each plant item and is compared to target estimates.
The Vineyard Management
module can be utilised to determine optimal harvest dates,
track varietal analysis changes, estimate yields and produce
profit/loss statements.
Downloading of data from weather stations for consolidation
in EzyWine is a breeze!
The Vineyard Reference module allows you to define trellis
types, soils, rootstocks, clones, irrigation types, blocks,
block groups and operation types (e.g. pruning) being used on
your blocks as well as those by growers that supply you with
grapes. Vineyard operation types can be grouped as labour expenses,
materials and machinery expenses.
The Vineyard Operations module allows you to record
operations performed in the vineyard including income derived
from selling grapes. The reports summarise expenses such as
spraying, pruning, planting, cultivation, harvesting, management
fees, tractor repairs and fertilising at both vineyard and
block level. A spray diary can easily be produced.
The vineyard report writer allows you to easily customise
your own vineyard performance reports and display budget versus
actual expenses for any combination of operation types defined.
The report writer reports can be summarised at various levels
including grower, block, block group, variety, variety group
and stage (i.e. producing versus non producing blocks).
The Vineyard Analysis module includes graphs and analysis
statistics such as the total number of analysis entries, first,
last, lowest, highest and average value for each analysis
recorded. Critical analysis can be easily highlighted.
